The Gerard Byrne Gallery is exclusively dedicated to showcasing the work of Gerard Byrne, born in Dublin in 1958, and one of the country’s leading visual artists. With a career spanning more than 35 years, Byrne is renowned for his revival of the Impressionist and plein air traditions in Ireland. His oil paintings are distinctive for their vibrant palette, expressive brushwork, and skilful contrasts of light and shadow, elements that evoke the work of the Impressionist Masters.
Admission is free, and the gallery is open daily. Please check the website for the most up to date opening hours.
